Finding effective ways to share needed information:
– Update name and contact information of pastors and Church organizational leaders
– Exchange information electronically, which includes the use of social media
– Association will solicit and share information that Associations receives from Churches, electronically which includes social media and email
– Association will solicit and share Church information via electronic media
– Association will make announcements in its meetings about Church activities
– Publish Association information in ‘Church Briefs’ section of local newspaper
– Investigate options with the ‘Church Directory’ in local newspaper
– Utilize electronic media to share information with the public
– Investigate the use of links with relevant groups to share information
The Communications team is responsible for helping all of us stay connected! We’ll do that with a combination of personal interactions, letters, emails, phone calls, website postings, newspaper content, social media and most anything else that proves effective. It sounds like a lot, but really just boils down to helping each group, be that Church, Association, Mission teams, Ministry Teams, Training initiatives, etc, to let others know what’s happening and how to be a part of something bigger.
